Pleasure to meet you

I’m a performing artist, improv educator, advocate and endurance athlete.

When I was a senior in high school, I was often chosen to help Rugby Oregon visit middle schools and demonstrate the game of rugby during their PE classes. Rugby was my first true love. It also became the effortless door toward health and wellness for me.

Although I didn’t pursue rugby in college, what persisted was my love of running and movement.

While in college, I explored a new interest of theater and improv. It felt similar to rugby and athletics that it reminded me of my body, and the presence that play gives. I’ve studied in a number of theaters across the country over the years including The Hideout Theater in Austin, Asheville Community Theater in Asheville, and Curious Comedy in Portland. My training even extends to clowning at The Clown School in Los Angeles.

Now, I work as a teacher and a member of the ensemble at The Deep End Theater. As an improv instructor, I’m committed to helping others unleash their creativity and spontaneity. I believe in the transformative power of improv and its ability to enhance communication, confidence, and collaboration.

My running journey is an absorbed exploration of the relationship between the body and the environment. Passionate about sustainability and mindful movement, running is a way to engage deeply with the land, fostering a greater understanding of both personal health and ecological stewardship.

Through these projects, my mission is to inspire positive change and encourage creative expression. I invite you to join me on this journey, whether through participating in my run, attending an improv class, or simply following along as we walk the interconnected trails of the body and the world.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or possible projects to collaborate on!
